Kappa Delta Pi
elects new officers for 2002-03 FOR RELEASE April 17, 2002 HUNTINGTON, IN -The Omega Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta
Pi at Huntington College announced their elected officers for the 2002-
2003 school year. Kappa
Delta Pi, an International Honor Society for Educators with more than
60, 000 member worldwide, was founded in 1911. Huntington College has
carried its charter with the society since May of 2000. Induction
into Kappa Delta Pi requires that an education student achieve at least
a 3.3 cumulative grade point average, be a sophomore, junior, or senior,
and have “exhibited the ideals of scholarship, high personal
standards, and promise in teaching and allied professions.” Huntington College is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 50 academic concentrations. US News and World Report ranks Huntington among the best in the Midwest. Founded in 1897 by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, Huntington College is located on a contemporary, lakeside campus in Huntington, Indiana. # # # Huntington
