Men’s basketball media guide receives award FOR RELEASE July 1, 2002
The 2001-02 men’s basketball media guide was produced by the Huntington College Public Relations and Sports Information offices and printed by Perdue Printed Products in Fort Wayne. The layout and design was created by Bethany (Manter) Doyle, Public Relations Coordinator at the College. Art students Matt Plett and Andrew Kurzen designed the cover. The 2001-02 men’s Forester basketball team finished second in the Mid-Central Conference and won the MCC Tournament, earning its way to the NAIA National Tournament. They finished with a 26-11 record while producing three All-Americans in senior David Porter and juniors Brett Snodgrass and Adam Hill. The upcoming season will get underway on Tuesday, November 5 in Huntington against Urbana College. The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past six years, Huntington has produced 38 All-American honors and 58 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
