Hill
garners weekly honor

HUNTINGTON, IN— The Huntington College
athletic department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week
of January 13 – 19, 2003. Men’s basketball senior Adam Hill earned the
honor for his excellent efforts during the week’s competitions.
Hill,
a business management major from Parker City, Ind. (Wapahani High School),
scored 27 points in both of the Foresters’ match-ups this week. In
Tuesday’s victory over Marian, he shot 8-for-13, going 6-for-11 from
behind the arc and a perfect 5-for-5 at the charity stripe. Against Bethel
on Saturday, Hill shot 8-for-14, going 5-for-8 in three point field goals
and 6-for-7 at the free throw line. For the week, he combined for 11
rebounds, 12 assists and four steals. Hill, the NAIA Div. II leader in
free throws, currently posts a .942 free throw percentage. The Foresters
are 17-4 on the season and currently share the lead in the Mid-Central
Conference standings with Taylor and Marian, each at 3-1.
The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for
men and women. In the past six years, Huntington has produced 39
All-America honors and 67 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington College is a comprehensive Christian
