Adam Hill earns Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGTON, IN— The Huntington College
athletic department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week
of January 20 – 26, 2003.
Men’s basketball senior Adam Hill earned the
honor for his excellent efforts during the week’s competitions.
Hill,
a business management major from Parker City, Ind. (Wapahani High School),
led the No. 8 Foresters to two conference wins over the
week. At Grace on Tuesday, the Foresters won by three points in overtime
with Hill leading the way in the extra period. He finished the game with
28 points, shooting 8-12 from the field, 3-6 behind the line and 9-9 from
the charity stripe. Hill also contributed two assists and one steal. In
Saturday's home match-up with the No. 12 Taylor Trojans, Hill once again
led the way in a Foresters win with 22 points. He shot 8-16 from the
field, 3-7 from three-point range and 3-4 at the foul line. Hill also had
a hot hand away from shooting the ball, pushing three steals and seven
assists. The Foresters
are 19-4 on the season and currently share the lead in the Mid-Central
Conference with Marian, both at
5-1.
The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for
men and women. In the past six years, Huntington has produced 39
All-America honors and 67 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington College is a comprehensive Christian
