Brautigam chosen to attend prestigious seminar FOR RELEASE May 1, 2003 Dr. Brautigam will participate in an institute entitled “Cultural Stress from Reformation to Revolution.” The six-week program will be held at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. Professors David Cressy (History, Ohio State University) and Lori Anne Ferrell (Reformation Studies, Claremont Graduate University) will be the directors. The sixteen teachers selected to participate in the program each receive a stipend of $3,700 to cover their travel, study and living expenses. Dr. Brautigam came to Huntington in 1987. He received his Ph.D. in British and Early Modern European history from the University of Rochester, and specializes in 17th century English political and religious history.
