Biberstine, Hamilton, Forester Athletes of the Week FOR RELEASE October 13, 2003
Courtney Hamilton, a business management major from Tobago in Trinidad and Tobago, helped the soccer team secure two wins on the week. As the Foresters’ goalkeeper, Hamilton recorded a shutout on Tuesday against Mid-Central Conference (MCC) foe, Goshen College, to preserve the 1-0 victory. He followed up that feat with a 13-save performance in the team’s 2-1 win over Franklin College to lead the Foresters to their first undefeated week of the season. The Foresters will next travel to Marion, Indiana on Wednesday, October 15 to take on MCC rival, Indiana Wesleyan University at 7:00 p.m. The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past seven years, Huntington has produced 45 NAIA All-American honors and 71 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
