Seven students receive Alpha Chi Sophomore
Award

HUNTINGTON, IN— The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi National Scholarship
Honor Society recently presented seven Huntington College students the
2004 Sophomore Honor Award at a reception hosted by Huntington College
President G. Blair Dowden.
Alpha Chi is a national honor society for
undergraduate juniors and seniors in all academic disciplines. Its
objectives are the stimulation, development and recognition of
scholarship.
These students were
recognized as the top in their class:

Stephen Boston, a business accounting
major from Westerville, Ohio

Kevin Krauskopf, a history major from
Fremont, Ind.

Anna Lee, an English major from
Noblesville, Ind.

Emily Padilla, a biology major from
Rochester, Ind.

Chad Pryor, a business management major
from Sheridan, Ind.
-
Christi Shook, a business not-for-profit
major from Franklin, Ind.

Kristina Thompson, a visual arts major
from Becker,
Minn.
Alpha Chi is the highest academic honor at
Huntington College. The Indiana Beta Chapter at HC is in the top ten of
300-plus Alpha Chi chapters and was national chapter of the year in 2001.
Members are committed to promoting both academic excellence and service on
campus.
