Sophomore scholars will be honored for achievement
Alpha Chi Honor Society to recognize six studentsFOR RELEASE April 22, 1999
HUNTINGTON, IN—The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi National Scholarship Society will be honoring six students at Huntington college with the 1999 Sophomore Honor Award. The students will be recognized as the top students in their class at a reception to be held April 25, 2:00 p.m. at the home of the President of the College, Dr. and Mrs. G. Blair Dowden. Selected for the sophomore award are Valerie Brankle, Sarah Hays, Rachael Hinkle, Jennifer Kersey, Amy Marie Smith, and Sarah Stanek.
Founded in 1897, Huntington College offers graduate and undergraduate programs in nearly 50 academic concentrations. The Christian liberal arts college is located on a contemporary, wooded campus in Huntington, Indiana.
