Local student presents senior art exhibit

FOR RELEASE--March 25, 1999

HUNTINGTON, IN— Huntington College seniors Jamie Stoffel and Darla Workman are presenting their senior art exhibits at The Robert E. Wilson Gallery of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. There will be a public reception for the artists on March 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The exhibit, "From All Angles," features a wide variety of mediums including computer-generated graphics, photography, prints, paintings, drawings, sculptures, and ceramics.

The exhibit will continue at the gallery through April 2. The Robert E. Wilson Gallery is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge for admission.

Jamie Stoffel is a senior at Huntington College pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in art education. She is the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Stoffel of Huntington, Indiana

Darla Workman is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design. She is the daughter of Everett and Betty Hartter of Sabetha, Kansas.

Art is one of many distinctive programs offered at Huntington College, Founded in 1897 by the Church of the United Brethern in Christ, the four-year liberal arts college offers graduate and undergraduate programs in nearly 50 academic concentrations. Huntington College is located on a contemporary, wooded campus in Huntington, Indiana.
