Local college students present art exhibit
FOR RELEASE -April 8, 1999
HUNTINGTON, IN The Robert E. Wilson Gallery of the Merillat Centre for the Arts will present the senior art exhibits of Huntington College students Dustina Dawn Bowman and Jami Michelle Cotton April 9-16, 1999. A reception for the artists will be held on Saturday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The exhibition, "Inspired by Our Creator," will include works in a variety of mediums by the students, who are each pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design with a minor in fine arts at Huntington College. Ms. Bowman is the daughter of Richard and Kay Bowman of Peru, Indiana. Ms. Cotton is the daughter of Don and Kay Cotton of Huntington, Indiana.
The Robert E. Wilson Gallery is located in the Merillat Centre for the Arts on the campus of Huntington College, 2303 College Avenue, in Huntington. The Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For further information, call (260) 359-4261.
Graphic design is among nearly 50 academic concentrations available from Huntington College. The four-year, coeducational Christian liberal arts college is located on a contemporary, lakeside campus in Huntington, Indiana.
