Racial Reconciliation Conference to be held at
Huntington College
HUNTINGTON, IN FEBRUARY 27, 1997--- Pastor Vonda Royal and the Lion of Judah Church in Huntington, Indiana will present a Racial Reconciliation Conference on Saturday, March 8 on the campus of Huntington College. The program will begin at 9 a.m. in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.
The conference is based on the biblical precept "to endeavor to keep the unity of spirit in the bond of peace" (Ephesians 4:3). The event will begin with 90 minutes of prayer, praise, and worship. The program will conclude in the afternoon following a special service of prayer and consecration.
The one-day conference will feature several speakers including Bishop Melvin Bolden of Calvary Chapel in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Dee Dee Addison, director of the Joe Mertz Center for Volunteer Service and Christians United for Racial Equality (CURE); and evangelist Candy Ward from Muncie, Indiana.
