Who is your Youth for Christ leader / director?
**One of the student requirements of the Horizon Scholarship is to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Please file by February 21st and list Huntington University (001803) as a recipient of the information. In order to file the FAFSA, you must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.** 

Essay Questions

For each response below, please include a 250-350 word essay responding to the questions. You can type your response in a word processor (Word) and copy/paste into the text boxes below.

1. To qualify for this scholarship, you need to have involvement with Youth for Christ (YFC). Please tell us about your involvement and leadership in YFC, including the dates of your involvement. 
2. Please describe your faith journey for the past 12 months. What have been some obstacles and triumphs along the way?
3. What would you like to contribute to the Huntington University community as a Horizon Leader?
4. Please share about your experience as a minority student in your school, church, and community.
5. Where do you see God leading you in 5-10 years? How can Huntington University prepare you for this role?
To apply for the Horizon Leadership Scholarship, three references are needed. One of these references must be a Youth for Christ leader.  The remaining references may include coaches, pastors, teachers, and other non-family members who have had a significant relationship with you for the past few years.
