Types of Lasting Legacy gifts

Living Memorials
Perpetuate the life of a departed one through the life of a worthy student. Honor a departed loved one or friend by sending a Living Memorial gift, in any amount you like, to Huntington University. Families of those whose memories are so honored are notified of the gift without mentioning the amount given.

Tributes
Recognize a special person in your life. Honor a loved one or friend by sending a Tribute gift, in any amount you like, to Huntington University. Those who are honored are notified of the gift without mentioning the amount given.

Reflections
Whether your gift is a Living Memorial or a Tribute, you may choose to write your thoughts and reflections about that special person. Brief comments will be added to the University web site so that others might know why the gift is being made and how much that person affected your life.

Other Gift Options
Some people find it convenient to make non-cash gifts in the form of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, certificates of deposit, life insurance policies, real estate, wills, annuities, trusts, or other forms of appreciated assets.

Family members sometimes give a living memorial gift of property, cherished by a loved one, to an organization or institution that the person enjoyed supporting during life.

Scholarships can be established in memory or in honor of your special person. Scholarship endowments require a minimum $20,000 investment and will forever provide money to a deserving student at Huntington University.
