Dr. Karen Jones

Dr. Karen Jones earned her BS and MS degrees from Southwest Missouri State University and her PhD and MA degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has over 15 years of experience working with youth ministers in churches. Jones serves on the advisory board of the Youth Workers Journal and recently completed a youth discipleship resource book on using spiritual gifts in ministry and service for a new Lifeway curriculum line called Vital Skills. Jones has served as the project coordinator and worship speaker for  World Changers and recently completed a curriculum resource piece for the North American Mission Board on Leadership for Short-Term Mission Projects. In addition to the manual, Jones wrote the teaching guide and constructed a power point presentation to be used in training team leaders.
