Dr. Patricia A. Spedden
Director of Piano Studies

Dr. Patricia Spedden is a Professor of Music and Director of Piano Studies and Theory at Huntington University. A native of New York City and winner of several concerto competitions as well as awards for piano performance, she has appeared as piano soloist with symphony orchestras in the East and Midwest. She holds bachelor, masters and doctorate degrees in piano performance and has studied with Beveridge Webster, Pia Sebastiani, and Menahem Pressler.

She frequently performs solo and chamber music professionally, and has presented a number of scholarly papers. She recently released a CD recording of her sacred piano arrangements based on classical piano works entitled Classical Praise. The CD is marketed nationally and internationally by Discovery House Music through Butterfly International Distribution.
