Michael Trentacosti
Adjunct Faculty (Applied Bassoon)

Michael Trentacosti, Applied Bassoon Instructor, soon after completing his senior year of high school won a scholarship to Interlochen Music Camp and, while there, received a four-year scholarship to Peabody Conservatory of Music. Mr. Trenctacosti holds a BME from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and a MM from the Manhattan School of Music. In 1977, he joined Fox productions of South Whitley, IN, the internationally acclaimed maker of bassoons and oboes. He also was a member of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra for eighteen years and is currently the Principal Bassoonist for the Marion Philharmonic.
