Music is a high calling. It enriches our lives and cheers our darkest days. Music stirs our emotions, stimulates our intellect, and nurtures our faith. Music shapes our culture. Our world needs skillful musicians who can compose wisely and perform well. Musicians, in turn, need savvy managers and business leaders to help take their message to the world.

Our Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Music Business is designed for those students interested in operating a commercial music enterprise, such as a retail music store or private lesson studio, or in working in the sound recording or commercial music industry.

As a music business major at Huntington University, you will study alongside musicians seeking conservatory-level training within the context of a rich liberal arts education. We will help develop your knowledge of music and your business skills, and ultimately expand the depth and breadth of your creative energy and expression for the glory of God.

You will also have an opportunity to participate in the Contemporary Music Program of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities. Located on Martha's Vineyard, this semester-long program offers intensive hands-on instruction. You'll help create and market a recording of original music.

You will graduate with the critical skills necessary for success in the music industry.
