Rebecca Coffman presents art exhibit in California

FOR RELEASE November 6, 2003
HUNTINGTON, IN— The Theatre Gallery at Concordia University in Irvine, Calif., is proud to present “Surface, Form and Line”, an exhibition of ceramic art pieces. The works assembled for this exhibition are created by Gary Baxter of
Houghton, N.Y., Rebecca Coffman of Huntington, Ind., and Alan Kwok of Marion, Ind. The exhibit is open from November 3 until December 5, 2003.

Each artist worked within the format of function by installing individual aesthetics on a variety of forms, ranging from covered jars to teapots. All three artists’ works were tied together by their keen understanding of form, surface and line. The artists used these fundamental elements to create art pieces of richness and clarity.
