Ten Foresters named All-American Scholar Athletes

HUNTINGTON, IN— Ten Huntington College spring sport student-athletes were recently presented with the highest academic honor awarded to an individual within his or her respective sport.  The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) awards the All-American Scholar Athlete to junior and senior standing athletes that combine excellence in the classroom with outstanding skills on the playing field.  For the spring season, one softball player, two track runners and seven tennis players received the prestigious award.

The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past seven years, Huntington has produced 49 NAIA All-American honors and 91 All-American Scholar Athlete honors.
