Kaufman, Porterfield Forester Athletes of the Week
FOR RELEASE October 10,
2005 Sarah Kaufman, a sophomore from Ada, Michigan (Forest Hills Central High School), helped lead the Foresters to a 1-0-1 week with her five goals in the two matches. In Huntington’s 2-2 tie with Marian College, Kaufman scored a goal in each half to pull the Foresters even at 2-2 to avoid a loss on the road. On Saturday, her hat trick carried Huntington to the 3-1 win over Taylor University. The Foresters are now 5-6-1 on the season and next host conference rival Bethel College on Tuesday, October 11 at 3:30 p.m.
