Goeglein to share the benefits of planning

Huntington, Ind.—Chris Goeglein, managing partner and founder of True North Strategic Advisors in Fort Wayne, Ind., will be the guest speaker for the Huntington University Foundation breakfast on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. Goeglein will present information relating to the benefits of planning in both the for-profit and not-for-profit business environments.

The breakfast line will open at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons, and the program will conclude by 9 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $6. First time attendees eat free.

Prior to founding True North Strategic Advisors in 2002, Goeglein served as vice president of corporate development for Lincoln Financial Group, managing worldwide mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture projects for Lincoln. Goeglein also is active in non-profit leadership, serving on the Taylor University board of trustees and the True Life Choices board. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Ball State University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and political science from Taylor University.

The Huntington University Foundation hosts a monthly breakfast meeting, open to all who are interested in learning about current issues and the people and programs of Huntington University.
