Worship Leadership program to host seminar FOR RELEASE March 31, 2006 Huntington, Ind.—The new Worship Leadership program at Huntington University will host a seminar titled “Facilitating Flow Within a Song Set in Worship” on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Mr. Bob Myers, instructor in worship leadership, will address the practical questions involved in this important skill: · What are the spiritual dynamics of the worship “conversation”? · What is a theological thread and how is it important to the worship set? · How is affective development cultivated and planned within the set without manipulating worshippers? · What are the specific musical devices that will facilitate flow? “Facilitating flow within worship is one of the most critical tasks of a worship planner and leader,” Myers said. The seminar will be held in room 150 of the Merillat Centre for the Arts at Huntington University. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. and conclude by 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend this free seminar. For more information, contact Myers at (260) 359-4318 or bmyers@huntington.edu.
