HUNTINGTON, IN—Eleven
Huntington University athletes recently were inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma,
the national honor society that gives recognition to college students who
excel in both academics and athletics.
Chi Alpha Sigma is a
nonprofit organization established to recognize college student athletes who
earn a varsity letter in at least one sport while maintaining a 3.5 or
higher cumulative grade point average throughout their junior and senior
years.
Huntington University
students inducted on March 4 included

a junior graphic design major
and softball team member from Archbold, Ohio (Archbold High School)

Laura M. Bowman,
a junior communication studies
major and cross county and track & field teams member from La Fontaine,
Ind. (Southwood Jr./Sr. High School)

a junior elementary
education major and cross country team member from Fort Wayne, Ind.

The Huntington University
Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the
past 10 years, Huntington has produced 57 NAIA All-American honors and 122
NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete honors.
