Three Foresters receive MCC honors FOR RELEASE October 18, 2006
Huntington, Ind.—The Mid-Central Conference announced its postseason awards for tennis, and three Huntington University Foresters appeared on the list of honorees. Stephanie Strong and Raelyn Althoff both finished second in their singles' flights at the MCC Tournament, and both went 6-2 during MCC regular season competition to earn All-Conference honors. Strong is a sophomore elementary education major from Goshen, Ind., and Althoff is a freshman business management major from Stevensville, Mich.
HU’s Gary Turner was the third Forester to be honored. He was named the women's tennis Coach of the Year. Joining the Foresters on the list are Sarah Bauss, Kristi Haddad and Julia Hedgebeth from Indiana Wesleyan, Britni Delaney from St. Francis, Laurelyn Foderaro and Hannah Gingerich from Goshen, Kristin Goeke and Kaiti Marsh from Taylor, Anna Metz form Grace and Bree Oles from Bethel.
