Fort Wayne mayor proclaims "Jim O'Donnell Day"

HUNTINGTON, IN—Fort Wayne Mayor Graham Richard issued a proclamation
today declaring October 8, 2007, to be The mayor's official proclamation credited O'Donnell as "a man of Christian ethics, integrity, and faith in God" and praised his teaching "which encourages students to integrate values and ethics into their professional and personal lives." The proclamation also recognized O'Donnell for being "a devoted husband who has used his faith to help his wife overcome several life-threatening illnesses, and has written an inspiring book titled "Letters to Lizzie," which chronicles their journey through these illnesses." O'Donnell is associate professor of business and executive-in-residence at Huntington University. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations. U.S.News & World Report ranks Huntington among the best colleges in the Midwest. Founded in 1897 by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, Huntington University is located on a contemporary, lakeside campus in northeast Indiana.
