O'Donnell to present economic forecast in Decatur FOR RELEASE December 21, 2007
Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Foundation will present Jim O’Donnell’s 2007 economic review and 2008 economic forecast for the Decatur Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 14. His presentation is titled “The Sub-prime Mess, Falling Dollar and Sky High Oil – Does 2008 Even Have a Future?” O’Donnell was an executive with a national mutual fund company prior to his current role as associate professor of business and executive-in-residence at Huntington University. He is a certified public accountant and served many years as an executive in the financial services industry with such firms as Fidelity Investments and the Dreyfus Corporation in Boston and New York, respectively. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University. The event will begin at noon at the Woodcrest Campus Center, 1300 Mercer Ave., Decatur. The cost for the luncheon is $10. RSVP by noon on Jan. 11 to the Decatur Chamber of Commerce at (260) 724-2604. O’Donnell also will give his presentation to the Columbia City Area Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 8, Huntington University Foundation on Jan. 9 and Wells County Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development on Jan. 10.
