RACU’s mission, as a private faith-based university, is to equip young Russians for leadership roles in their local communities, in the marketplace, in their churches and in their nation. Bernbaum works out of the U.S. office of RACU in Wheaton, Md., and spends approximately one-third of the year in Moscow; the remaining time is spent traveling across the country sharing RACU’s mission, recruiting faculty and raising scholarship support for financially-needy Russian students.

Dr. Del Doughty serves as professor of English at Huntington University where for the past dozen years he has taught courses in creative writing, world literature, and academic writing and research. His poems have appeared in various magazines and journals, and he has published two brief collections: “The Sound of Breathing” (Saki Press, 2000) and “Flow” (Red Moon Press, 2004). Currently, he serves as the chair of the Division of Humane Studies and as the director of the Capstone program. He attends Central Christian Church in Huntington where he is an elder, a Sunday school teacher and a voice in the choir.

Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations.
