“Overall I have heard
positive comments about Spring Work Day this year,” said Laura Groth,
program coordinator for the Joe Mertz Center and a junior
elementary
education major from Winchester, Ind. “The sites were very excited and thankful
for all the work the students completed. I hope the students will continue
to have a heart for service even though Spring Work Day is over. There are
always opportunities to help the community in which we live.”
