Huntington
announces winners of student art exhibit

Huntington, Ind.—Huntington
University recently announced the winners of the 19th Annual Juried Student
Art Exhibit held in the
Robert E. Wilson Gallery of the
Merillat Centre for the Arts.
Sam Smith, a National
Endowment for the Arts recipient from Indianapolis, Ind., served as guest
juror.
Smith selected the work for
the student art exhibit as well as award best of show, first place, second
place, third place and special achievement recognitions.
The pieces for the exhibit
were created by Huntington University students, freshmen through seniors,
who are enrolled in one or more
art courses. This was the first exhibition
for the work. All types of media were represented.
