Huntington, Ind.—Manchester High School catcher and first baseman Marc Roth, son of Cheryl and Bob Roth of North Manchester, has made his decision to attend Huntington College official, as he recently signed a letter of intent for the upcoming school year. Roth hit .365 with 9 HR and 29 RBI in 24 games this season, and was named an All Three Rivers Conference selection for the second year in a row. He also holds the Manchester H. S. career home run record with 16.
Huntington, Ind.—Holt High School (Mich.) standout Nate Vandlen, son of Jill and Tim Vandlen of Dimondale, Mich., has made his decision to attend Huntington College official, signing a letter of intent recently to join the Foresters for the 2000-01 season. During his senior year, Vandlen hit .381 with 1 HR and 23 RBI.

Huntington College announced today that Steve DeCou will join the HC staff as assistant athletic trainer, varsity men's soccer coach, and intramural director. DeCou brings a variety of skills and experiences to the position. As an athletic trainer, he has worked in several different settings including high schools and colleges, and provided coverage for various elite athletic competitions such as the NCAA D-II national football championship and a U.S. National Softball team tournament. He has a master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the United States Sports Academy and is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainer Association.

The senior catcher hit .400 with 21 RBI in 1999. Greg is the son of Kathy and Lee Slee of Liberty Center, OH.
Huntington, Ind.— Huntington College Head Baseball Coach Mike Frame has announced that Parkway High School standout Luke Clouse has signed a letter of intent to attend Huntington College this fall. The senior catcher hit .400 with 39 RBI in 1999 and .394 with 17 RBI in 2000. This past season, he was named 2nd team all conference and was Parkway’s most valuable player.
HUNTINGTON, IN-- The Huntington College baseball team will sponsor a Summer Baseball Camp for area youth June 26-28 at the College’s Forest Glen Park. Especially designed for children ages 8 to 12, the camp will feature intensive instruction from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. each day.
