Fundraising efforts at the 15th Annual “Flash Back to the 60s” Car Show on July 16 garnered $390.84 for the Huntington University Joe Mertz Center for Volunteer Service. And a $1,000 donation from David and Paula Funk of Huntington, who operate the car show, pushed the total up over $1,300.
The artwork of HU graduate Christian Elden (2002) has been featured in a recent children’s title from publisher Warner Press, titled “Petunia Pepper’s Picture Day.”
Norwood Golf Club will host a fall golf outing to benefit the Huntington University men’s golf program on Sunday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. Cost is $65 per person or $260 per foursome and includes green fees, cart rental, dinner and door prizes.
