1967-2009 Dean Emeritus of the University 1982-1998 
Dr. Smith retired from active teaching after 42 years on the Huntington University faculty. He taught both physics and chemistry. He completed his PhD from Purdue University and his BS degree from Huntington. He received an honorary doctorate from Huntington.
