Associate Director of Professional Programs

For the programs, Julie Goetz oversees and manages all distance learning courses as well as develops policy and strategic planning for the advancement of the online programs. She also manages and reviews course content, evaluates the programs, and trains faculty. Her other responsibilities include collecting and reporting administrative data and developing the learning management systems used by the online courses.

Sara Baldwin joined the university in 2013. She is a native of Muncie, Indiana, but currently lives in Fort Wayne with her family. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and human resource management from the IUPUI Kelley School of Business-Indianapolis in 2008.

Interim Assistant Director for Graduate and Professional Program Enrollment

Sara Diehl began working at Huntington University in 2008. She now manages the daily enrollment activities of the graduate and adult program offices. Diehl received a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurial Small Business Management and Marketing from Huntington University in 2008 and is currently working on her MBA.

Brenda Knipp is the Online Advisor. The 1974 HU graduate majored in French and English and received her Master of Education degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in 1976.

McPherren returned to her alma mater to join the business department faculty in 1981. She has also assisted the university in various academic and administrative endeavors serving as assistant to the Academic Dean, department and Division head, and currently as Vice President for Strategy & Graduate/Adult Programs.

Nichole Surbaugh joined the Professional Programs staff team in July of 2013 and enjoys serving and guiding prospective students as they discover their educational path. Having received her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in 2005, Nichole is currently a graduate student at Huntington University.
