Dr. Wayne L. Priest
Associate Professor of
Psychology
Before
joining the Huntington University faculty, Dr. Wayne L. Priest
served as a clinical psychologist in Carmel, IN. He completed his PhD in counseling psychology
and gerontological assessment at Ball State University in 1993. He obtained
his BA in psychology and religion in 1980 and his MA in religion in 1983
from Anderson University. He has been an adjunct professor in general
psychology and other psychology courses for Anderson, Purdue and Indiana
Universities for several semesters. He has had several additional years of
counseling experience at various clinics. He has participated in more than
three dozen workshops on a range of topics, including aging, Alzheimer
treatment, MMPI interpretation, cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, etc. He
has made presentations on similar topics at various conferences and has
published in Clinical Gerontologist.
