Twyla Lee
Associate Professor of Social Work
Director of Social Work

Mrs. Twyla Lee, director of social work education and associate professor of social work at Huntington University, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, and a Master of Social Work degree from George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University, St. Louis, MO. 

Previously, she was the director of social work education at Taylor University, IN from 1993-2004; assistant professor of social work at University of St. Francis, IN from 1986-1993; field director for social work at Tabor College, KS in 1985-86, and director of admissions and student services at Freeman Junior College, SD from 1979-1985.  From 1976-1979 she worked for The Village:  A Family Services Center, Fargo, ND as coordinator of the Big Brother/Big Sister Program and State Adoption Coordinator. 

She and her husband, Dr. Steve Lee, live in Huntington, IN and co-teach courses and co-lead retreats in the areas of marriage, family, and interpersonal relationships.  They are members of Life Church - Huntington. 

Twyla and Steve have two grown sons (HU grads in 2000 & 2004) who are married to HU grads (2002 & 2003) and have provided four wonderful grandchildren.
