So What Can I Do with a Spanish Major?

If you are an Spanish major or if you tell someone you plan to major in Spanish, the first assumption they make is: "So, you're going to be a teacher."  Yet, while the teaching profession is among one of the more frequented by Spanish majors, it is certainly not the only thing one can do with a degree in Spanish. The Spanish major is excellent preparation for careers in business, journalism and communications, law, medicine, the service professions and teaching.
