Assistant Professor of Spanish
Dr. Silvia Choi joined the faculty in the fall of 2007. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Columbia University in Paraguay and a Master of Arts degree in Spanish literature from both Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea and Kansas State University. She earned her Ph.D. in modern languages and literature with a specialization in Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. From 2004 to 2007, she served as a teaching assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research interests include 19th and 20th century Latin American and Peninsular literature.
