Martin Luther
King Convocation
January 21

The annual
Martin Luther King Convocation will be on January 21, 2008 from
11:30-12:30. Our speaker will be Fort Wayne pastor and
president of the Fort Wayne chapter of the National Association
for the Advancement of Colored People, Reverend Michael Latham.
Special music will be performed by Pre-eminence and the DC will
be open until 1:00 pm (as usual) to accommodate the 12:30 ending
of the service. We hope to see you there.

The Huntington University cheerleading squad will be hosting a cheer clinic on Saturday, February 9, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Girls between the ages of 5 and 14 are invited to participate at a cost of $25 per person. The clinic will be held at the Merillat Complex (MPERC) on Huntington University’s campus. Registration forms for the clinic will be available in the main office or athletic office of each Huntington County elementary and junior high school, as well as in Huntington University’s athletic office.
