Student Video Contest
Huntington University – “Together”
Campaign 2009
As a part of our “Together” Campaign to
improve upon and enhance the facilities and
overall experience at Huntington University,
the Campus Community Committee is sponsoring
a Student Video Contest. All current
Huntington University students are eligible
for the prizes and welcome to participate as
we seek to spread the word about our next
major building projects on campus: a new
Center for Digital and Visual Arts, and
major renovations and updates on our current
Merillat Complex for Physical Education and
Recreation. While these projects are just in
the beginning stages of planning and
fundraising, we hope to educate our own
Huntington University community (students,
faculty, and staff) about these two future
projects as we seek to meet the growing and
changing needs of our campus.
Basic Rules and Guidelines:
ALL STUDENTS ENTERING THE CONTEST MUST FIRST
PICK UP CAMPAIGN INFORMATION FROM THE
ADVANCEMENT OFFICE. Contact Beth Lahr (blahr@huntington.edu)
or just stop by the Annex (second level) and
ask for materials to find out more about the
actual building projects.
In a fun, light-hearted, and humorous way,
address some or all of the following:
Why do we need these building projects?
How will students benefit from this?
How might this give a ‘competitive
advantage’ to HU over other schools?
The video must include the words “together,”
“dream,” “plant,” and “grow.”
The video must also somehow incorporate the
“Together” folder and Ron Coffey (both must
be visible at some point in the video).
Video length should be no longer than one
minute.
Only one entry per student is allowed.
Videos should be copied onto CD or DVD and
delivered to Professor Matthew Ruiz. Each
disk much be labeled with the student’s
name, phone, email, major, and
classification. Video data files may be in .MOV,
.AVI, or .MPEG format, but must not exceed
1GB.
Entries will be judged by a panel of
University faculty and staff. The decision
of the judges is final.
Contest deadline is May 1
Winners announced by May 15
2 GRAND PRIZES for top 2 videos: iPod Touch
2 Runner-up Prizes: $50 Visa Gift cards
Contact Professors Lance Clark or Matthew
Ruiz with any contest questions.

Vaudeville and Commedia dell' arte are
seamlessly woven into an
uproarious fable of scheming

servants. Balancing on a
delicately taut tightrope of
mischief and revenge, the

juggling an array of
elaborate disguises to keep
their wealthy fathers from
discovering the truth.
Remaining true to Moliere's
classic farcical tale from
the seventeenth century,
this fresh and
