November is SAB writers month
Poverty Simulation
Wednesday, November 12 at 6:00–9:00 PM Huntington University
is hosting a poverty simulation in the upper dining hall.
The Poverty Simulation is an interactive exposure to the
difficulties of living in poverty. Students will need to
make their mortgage payments, buy groceries, provide
child-care, apply for aid and interact with many other
“agencies” staffed by local people, all while living within
their means. We will also spend a considerable time
debriefing the event and discussing “where do we go from
here”.
