May You Have a Very Blessed
Holiday Season
Verse Of The Year - John
13:34
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another.”
Not Returning to HU Next Term?
Please note that if you are planning on not
returning to HU for the next semester (PRIME
and CCCU students and graduating students
are exempt), please contact Scott Raymond in
the Office of Student Success (Becker Hall
140) at 359.4328 or
sraymond@huntington.edu.
All students not returning need to complete
an exit survey and interview prior to
leaving for the semester in order to be
eligible to have the $100 student deposit
returned. It will be my goal to make sure
that your personal transition away from HU,
or back to HU down the road, will be smooth
and hassle free!

changes need to be made by Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
No changes will be accepted after January 27.
J-term meals begin
on Monday, January 5, 2009
at breakfast until
Sunday, January 25
dinner. J-term
Break is January
21 dinner until
January 25 dinner and students
may eat during this
time w/o forfeiting
the $100 Flex
bonus.
The
Spring
semester meal plans
begin Monday at
breakfast on January
26, 2009.
Reminder:
Meal plans A, B, C, D, and E are all on the A plan during J-term. If you don't eat over J-term during the
above dates (January 5-21) $100 will be credited to your Flex dollars. This
is an automatic process usually updated by the 2-3rd week of
spring semester.
Those on the E meal plan for fall or spring are not included in the $100 Flex credit option.
Many times students
change meal plans
over the winter
break. Although the
meal plans do reset
each semester the
flex and bonus flex
dollars do not. In
other words, any
flex you have left
in the fall will be
added to your spring
meal plan amounts.

A woman who graduated from Huntington
College in the 1950s is looking for a male or female to
provide transportation to and from Columbia City girls
basketball away games. Her son is a coach and she would
enjoy going to the games but does not feel comfortable
driving to the away games. She is willing to pay for gas (or
you can drive her car), game ticket, and an additional $15
per game. More than one person could attend the games with
her, but she will only be able to pay $15 per game.
The dates and locations of the games
are:
December 2, Bishop Dwenger
December 12, Norwell
December 16, Warsaw
December 20, East Noble
December 30, Concordia
If anyone is interested in helping out
with any or all of these games, please email back as soon as
you can. She would really appreciate someone helping her out
and has lots of stories to share about what Huntington
College was like when she attended!
