Study Abroad Programs

Want to see the world? Want to earn college credit doing it? Every years HU students participate in the many semester abroad programs available through the Off-Campus and International Studies office. There are programs available on every continent of the globe (sans Antarctica) offering classes relevant to every major. Politics in DC. English at Oxford. Biblical studies in Jerusalem. These are just a few of the prospects available, and they fit right in a 4-year college plan. Studying abroad challenges your assumptions and widens your perspective. Check us out at http://www.huntington.edu/golearn, or email Brigitte Martin at bmartin@huntington.edu for more information.

Registrations for the second annual LIVE UNITED Team Mini-Triathlon in support of the 2009 Huntington County United Way Campaign are now underway.  It is a lot of fun and is a three-person team of a cyclist, runner and swimmer.  The distances are abbreviated and listed on the registration form.   This is a non-competitive event (although some people will be there who compete at everything) and is designed to promote a healthy, active lifestyle.   Come join the fun. If you would rather walk, why don’t you register for the Mini Tri Fun Walk?   Registration forms for both events can be downloaded at http://www.parkview.com/Locations/
