The Learning Center Writing Center

Writing Center services are designed to provide supplementary assistance with papers beyond what professors have time to provide in the classroom. Writing Center tutors are available on a drop-in basis at scheduled times for those who simply want assistance in brainstorming topics, outlining papers, checking revisions, documenting research, and writing bibliographies. They are also available for weekly appointments for students who need regular assistance in grammatical principles, vocabulary development and composition.

Fall and Spring Semester Writing Center hours:

Monday 7 to 9 pm
Tuesday 7 to 9 pm
Wednesday 11 am to 1 pm
Thursday 7 to 9 pm

If you are not able to come during these hours, contact us to set up an individual time that will fit into your schedule.  There are no posted Writing Center hours during January Term or the summer.  It may be possible to schedule an individual appointment by calling 359-4290 or sending an email to kchafin@huntington.edu.
