 Thom received his BA in Theater from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas,
and his MA in Theater from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Thom has
done doctoral studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has
worked with professional theater companies in Las Vegas, Washington D.C.,
Chicago, Milwaukee, and Boulder, Colorado.
Thom has served as managing artistic director at First Presbyterian Theatre in Fort Wayne, Indiana since 1997. At FPT, Thom has directed over 60 plays, acted in a dozen more, as well as adapted and staged world premieres of works based on Mark Twain’s The Diaries of Adam and Eve, and an early Ibsen play, Brand. Among his directing credits are 1/3 of Shakespeare’s canon, as well as works that range from the Greeks to the post-moderns. |
