Mime, Movement Coach - Waiting for Godot
Kristie Worfel, mime artist, has studied under master teachers Marcel Marceau, Tony Montanaro, Todd and Marilyn Farley and Stefan Niedzialkowski. Worfel has performed and taught mime for Master Arts Company in Grand Rapids, formed and directed King’s Court, Christ’s Shadow and Visible Proof mime troupes, written and directed two plays, and performed in community theatre. She has taught workshops and performed in schools, churches, prisons, conferences and conventions, bringing public awareness to the art of mime at all age levels. She has performed for private organizations, corporate dinners, banquets, and benefits. Kristie also teaches classes at day camps and college level, and has prepared teams for the mission field, where mime is an effective tool without language barrier. Her work has taken her to Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Rochester New York, Ecuador, France, and Mexico. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and is currently working on a master’s degree. |
