Dear Brother,

After reading the minutes of the Board meeting at Montgomery, I feel that my absence was no detriment.

I know not the result of the conference of Bros. Linker, Woodward and Stoltz, But if we have work for Bro. W. for one year, I think it advisable that he be sent. But it should involve, if possible a new building, as repairs ought not to incur the expense of sending a man to Africa. One year is as long as a man in Africa ought to be separated from his family. Generally the "call" is to see the country and its people,
