Rev. J. Howe,

Huntington, Ind.

Dear Brother,

Mrs. Ramey (Christopher's motherinlaw) called and paid for the renewal of her Missionary Monthly. I have not renewed my Conservator, which I was prevented from doing at Sugar Grove, by news of Orville's disaster, and my consequent hasty going home. Please see that Bro. Foote renews it. My Monthly also needs renewal.

I am to start in a few minutes to Westfield, Ill., to look after some business for the church and hope to have a bill of expense that will considerably outweigh the above!

The accident yesterday to Wilbur's machine was not a serious one,

as it did not break his controling aparatus, as was done in Orville's case.

Orville is improving vast. He walks in the room (and up and down stairs) on crutches, and goes out in our part of town on a wheeled chair. They are heaping the honors on Wilbur, and bringing him inot association with the most distinquished statesmen, scientiests, artists, etc. of France. He declines all in which Orville is not included. England is also doing its part. Honors are only decoration that fade like flowers.

But I must go to the train.

Your brother,

Milton Wright

Note--My train proved an hour late.
