Farm, Grant Co., Indiana,

Dear Bro. J. W. Howe:--

I enclose you a letter I receved from Rev. A. F. Stoltz, which explains itself. He asks some one (pref. Alwood) be sent over, to determine what shall be sent to Africa. It is about what Linker said. Men make a big profession, and then go to a back Kitchen and talk as filthy as can be! We need conversion in Africa, not profession. I reach this conclusion

1. Stoltz has our confidence, and we may trust his judgement.

2. No one can start there now in time to do much before Gen. Conference.

3. You are the man to go, if any one.

4. Better wait till after Gen. Conference,

Write me this week in answer, to Jonesboro, car of R. W. White, R.F.D. 16.

In haste,

Milton Wright
