Louisa Tuttle
Louisa Tuttle, wife of Rev. G. W. Tuttle
was born August 12, 1835, died May 12, 1905, aged 69 years and 9
months. She was married to Rev. G. W. Tuttle, May 24, 1860. To
this union were born six sons, two of whom are now members of
the Scioto annual conference. One son preceded her to the spirit
world. She was converted at the age of nineteen and joined the
United Brethren church and remained a faithful member until
death. She was truly an ideal itinerant's wife. She was a woman
of great faith and full of hope. No matter how pressing the
circumstances at home she would say, "Go to your work, husband,
the Lord will provide for us." Shs was a great sufferer for a
number of years with the dread disease catarrh. As she came near
the end, she expressed a desire to depart and be with Christ,
which is far better. She leaves to mourn a husband, five sons
one step son and other relatives and many friends. By a request
of the deceased the funeral was conducted by the writer.

James B. McDonald
James B. McDonald was born in Shelby
county, Ohio November 27, 1844, and died at his home in Dekalb
county, Indiana, September 17, 1905, aged 60 years, 9 months and
20 days. He with his parents moved to the home where he died in
the fall of 1863. He was united in marriage with Sarah M.
McCague February 26, 1865 To this union were born four sons and
two daughters, he joined the United Brethren church in the
winter of 1894, and has ever since lived a devoted Christian
life. He leaves to mourn their loss a devoted wife, six
children, twelve grand children, three sisters, one brother, a
mother over eighty years old other relatives and many friends,
but their loss is his gain. For over a year he had been sorely
afflicted, but the last hours were peaceful and triumphant: He
was a member of Corunna class, Waterloo circuit. The funeral was
conducted by the writer, their pastor, in the church at Corunna;
interment in the cemetery near by. A vast crowd of people
assembled to show their sympathy and respect they had for the
old soldier of the cross, and as an esteemed citizen of their
community. May God bless all the loved ones left and bring them
to as happy an end as his.

Wm. J. Grubb
Wm. J. Grubb. The subject
of this notice was born in Middle Point, Vanwert county, Ohio,
July 28, 1857, died in North Baltimore, Wood county, Ohio,
September 22, 1905, aged 48 years. I month and 25 days. He
leaves an aged and dependent mother, a wife and four small
children who are deeply stricken at his being taken from them as
he was their main support. He was an exemplary young man caring
for his crippled mother from his youth, seldom leaving her only
when his work took him away. He was honest, industrious and
cared for his own. Working upon a wind mill his hand was badly
torn whence originated the cause of his death. Amidst his
intense sufferings he gave himself to Jesus who received him
graciously, put a new song into his mouth even praises to God.
Funeral services in the Liberal U. B. church in Baltimore where
a large gathering of friends and neighbors assembled to pay a
last tribute of respect to the deceased. Burial in the North
Baltimore cemetery.
