Abraham Dibert
ABRAHAM DIBERT died at his residence, in Somerset Co., Pa., Aug. 22d, 1868,
aged 55 years, 8 months, and 13 days, Bro. Dibert was a faithful member of
the United Brethren Church for a number of years. His house was a welcome
home for the ministers. Many of the preachers will remember this dear
brother. Time alone can blot out the many acts of kindness of this family.
The church militant can hardly spare such pillars. Oh, that we hail many
more such on every charge. Though he is dead, yet he lives and speaks. He
did not forget his mother, the Church. He gave to the church at the
cross-roads a sum of money, the interest of which will gladden the heart of
the minister annually. I need not say his death was sweet and peaceful. May
God bless his dear wife.
W. B. Dick

Willie Brubaker

among the most devoted of women. Her place in the class and prayer meeting
was seldom vacant, unless providentially hindered. Such members are a loss
to the church below; but we must not murmur, to her all is gain. May her
children not forget her life and devotion.
